A large white box containing loose postcards, a blue album and also a quantity of packets of Souvenir cards of around Great Britain. A mix of topography and subject with a bundle of military photographic portraits from WW1 with quite a few signed and or identified. The blue album contains a wide mix of periods and quality but a Barton on Humber Windmill and the Lifeboat Coxwain from Robin Hood’s Bay stand out.

261 lots including several exciting original collections fresh to the market. Highlights include a specialised collection of St. Helena stamps and postal history, and a very extensive and impressive holding of Russian postal history with a particular focus on the Post Offices Abroad. The latter collector’s interests also extended through the Baltics to excellent Scandinavian Locals, as well as around the Eastern Mediterranean from the Balkans to Palestine and Egypt.
Amongst the postcards offered in the sale are fantastic albums from a dedicated collector, of high-quality and comprehensively assembled, which include transport related cards of Leeds, Skipton, Lancaster, Teesside and Middlesbrough as well as excellent general Yorkshire cards.
