The painting is sealed in at the reverse. There is a thin layer of dirt to the surface. There are two small right angled tears to the canvas centre lower edge no more than 1cm on each side. Minor scuffs. Small loss to lower right hand corner of frame. It is painted thinly in areas and the canvas is apparent. Otherwise in good sound order. Not examined with a UV light

We are happy to provide Condition Reports to prospective buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale. Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
