Taxidermy: Indian Tiger (Panthera tigris tigris), circa 1910-1915, an early example by either Van Ingen Van Ingen, Mysore, India, or Tocher & Tocher, Bangalore, India, numbered 55, shoulder mount with head turning to the left, mouth slightly agape, glass eyes, mounted upon an early oversized oval ebonised shield, 50cm from the wall, height 73cm,

. all teeth present, various amounts of cracking around gumline filler, roof of mouth has small section lost, tongue has a crack but complete, eyes good, ears showing signs of hair loss to the backs of the lobes, both ears complete but right ear seam open, visible stitching to underside of the neck, requires cleaning, some historical moth damage to top of the head, two small puncture holes to top of head, small replacement of hair to top of head 3cm x 1cm, some hair loss to chest area, small hole to right side of chest 5mm x 3mm, 5 whiskers remain, some rubbing to upper outer lips hair loss and to left side of the nose, hair loss to chin area, condition fair - good and conducive with age, in need of restoration, 21/05/20
