by John Yapp and John Woodward, Birmingham, 1849

each piece engraved with Gothic arches, further engraved with the ‘IHC’ Christogram, comprising a communion-cup; a paten, engraved with the last supper and underneath with an inscription, a silver wine-bottle with screw-cap, in fitted burgundy leather covered case
the case 9.5cm wide, weight of silver 4oz, 125gr (3)

The inscription reads ‘Presented to the Rev’d J. W. Benest by the teachers of the Northgate Sunday Schools as a token of affection and gratitude Huddersfield Aug’t 31st 1856’.
