Four 19th century Chinese blue and white vases, including a pair of sleeve vases each painted with a pair of phoenix; together with a French Faience garniture of three vases probably Rouen (one tray)

Sleeve vase one - substantial stapled repairs throughout. Sleeve vase two - some firing imperfections but reasonable condition throughout. Both 25cm high. Baluster vase one - 22cm high, glaze chip to the rim and numerous foot chips and firing imperfections with some glaze scratches. Baluster vase two - 27.5cm high and restored throughout. Garniture vases each with chips to the rim and large hairlines, one of the chips quite large (numerous other glaze chips here also). The foot of each with glaze losses and large chips, some glaze losses to the main body of vases also. Central vase with numerous glaze and other chips throughout the entire body, foot and rim (some quite substantial). Crazed throughout.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
