**This was the first edition to be printed which included both volumes. Sold together with a letter of provenance stating that the book belonged to the above John Adolf Vietor, author of Time Out: American Airmen at Stalag Luft I, and owner and publisher of San Diego magazine. It was inherited by his daughter who later sold it
