An Imposing Victorian Carved Mahogany Mirror-Back Sideboard, 3rd quarter 19th century, the later mirror plate within an acanthus carved and scrolled frame surmounted by a decorative plume depicting Britannia with an oval shipping scene below, the base of serpentine shaped form, the frieze decorated with Masonic symbols, on a carved platform base decorated with vines and fruit with figural supports, one holding a cornucopia, the other laurel leaves, 277cm by 84cm by 215cm

Top section numerous scratches, a section of timber missing around the moulded top, see image, some colour loss back left-hand corner, tear to the moulding, back left-hand corner mirror back, Brittania figure, the head and arms etc have been restored to a poor standard, acanthus scroll left hand corner section missing, base section various faults and splits, see images, mirror plate, later date
