A George I Walnut and Boxwood Strung Straight Front Chest on Stand, 2nd quarter 18th century, the moulded top above three frieze drawers with three deep drawers below with pierced brass handles and escutcheon, on a stand with three drawers above an arched apron, on later turned legs joined by a flattened stretcher and bun feet, 99cm by 54cm by 151cm

Chest, the top section is later, moulding around the middle some various natural ? gaps/splits, drawer front, and dust boards, small veneer losses, some deep scratches between top small drawers, bottom drawer on top section has split to veneer, end panel, the base section heavily scuffed, small areas of veneer patch repairs, mainly base section around the arched apron with some small wormholes evident, further small losses of veneer around the stretcher, brasses seem original - see images, drawer linings are pine
