D N CONSTANTIVS P F AVG, pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev FEL TEMP REPARATIO, soldier spearing fallen horseman who is bare-headed, bearded, reaching backwards, Γ in left field. The upcoming coin and banknote sale will feature an interesting and diverse selection of coins. From Roman coins to modern proof sets the sale has coins to appeal to a wide range of collectors. Of particular note are two proof sets minted to celebrate the coronations of George V and George VI respectively, a nice selection of Roman Republic and Imperial coinage including a scarce Roman Republic denarius of M. Cato, and four examples of the ‘Kew Gardens’ 50p designed by Christopher Le Brun.
