Used collection in a Windsor album (with lesser albums, literature, etc in a low container) including four-margin neat red MX penny black, ½d 'bantam' plates complete, some well above average quality early surface printed incl. 1867 9d and 10d, 1888 £1 wmk orbs attractive cds and excellent space-filler as reperfed at top, 1891 £1 green with faults, KEVII £1 green sound, likewise the £1 green seahorse cds (indistinct) as well as Waterlow 5/- mint, etc. Please inspect.

Highlights of the October 30th Stamp Sale include a very extensive collection of Switzerland assembled over a lifetime by a former President of the Helvetia Society of Great Britain with focus on postal history beautifully written-up on album pages; a specialised collection of Ceylon with many of the key stamps including an excellent range of classics plus King George V key-plate high values, plus from the same estate a group of the Indian State of Jammu & Kashmir including a complete presentation album sent out in 1899 on behalf of the Maharajah. Also an extremely interesting large folio presentation volume of 19th Turkish revenue proof sets with ornate binding suggesting a possibly unique production for the Ottoman royal family.
