A Victorian Mahogany Library Bookcase, 3rd quarter 19th century, the upper section as a three-tier waterfall bookcase with three-quarter gallery, the base of breakfront form with open niche and adjustable shelves flanked by arched moulded cupboard doors, turned column supports, on a plinth base

Various scuffs and faults consistent with age, mainly around the upper shelves. The top section has some veneer losses around the corner, there are also some losses to the plinth base (see images). Cupboard doors are fitted with locks, these doors are open but with no key. There are some small faults around the arched cupboard doors. The bookcase splits in two, ie the upper section shelves are one piece and the base another. The depth of the top shelves (please note this is a waterfall bookcase, so graduated): Top shelf 19.5cm deep, middle shelf 20cm deep, 3rd shelf 24cm deep. The depth of internal cupboard doors is 32cm. There are latches/locks on the cupboard doors which are open (but no key).

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
