~ A George III Mahogany Bureau Bookcase, circa 1770, the dentil cornice above panelled cupboard doors enclosing a fitted interior, the crossbanded fall enclosing a baize-lined writing surface, pigeon holes and small drawers around a central cupboard door, two short and three long drawers below, on bracket feet, 102cm by 57cm by 218cm
Good quality timber and attractive colour, small patch repairs throughout as photographed, minor splitting around the corners and end panels, the door is slightly misshapen as photographed, with deep scratching and splits also to the fall, brass hinges replaced, drawers are oak lined, general faults to the cock beading, with small repairs, no key but everything is open
