A French M1866 Chassepot Yataghan Sword Bayonet, the 57.5cm steel blade engraved Mre. Imple de St. Etiennes, 1870, the steel crossguard and scabbard each stamped B 68669; another Example, the blade engraved Mre. d'Armes de Chat. 1873, the crossguard stamped AB 54417, the steel scabbard stamped U 6140 (2)

Some fine rust pitting to hilts and scabbards, but generally in good condition. The first described has a small dent to the scabbard on one side.

Highlights to include an extensive collection of police helmet plates, badges, belts, handcuffs, and helmets from the Victorian era and the first half of the 20th century, and an interesting collection of powder horns and flasks. The Ethnographica section includes is a Collection of Inuit Art comprising knives, weapons, utensils and decorative objects
