Taxidermy: A Cased Snowy Owl (Bubo scandiacus), circa 1922-1930, by Rowland Ward, Ltd, 167 Piccadilly, London, a superb quality full mount adult with head turning to the left, perched upon a cut tree stump, amidst a natural setting of ferns, grasses and fallen leaves, above soil covered groundwork beneath, enclosed within a typical five-glass table display case with green painted taped frame, 53cm by 35.5cm by 66.5cm, a trade mark ivorine button to groundwork lower left, taxidermist's full paper trade label to underside.
