A George III Mahogany Oak-Lined Chest on Chest, late 18th century, the moulded cornice above three short and three long drawers with original brass handles, all between canted fluted stiles, the base with pull-out brushing sliding above three deep drawers, on bracket feet

Brasses appear to be original. Timber is rather dry and faded - the drawer fronts in particular could be improved and are faded. The base section and end panels with natural? splits - there is some general strengthening and repair work to the bracket feet. There is a small handle missing to the pull-out brushing slide. Lock removed from top small drawer. The locks are present except the top-middle drawer. The drawers are oak lined. All drawers are open and run freely. With original brasses and original backboards. Made of good quality timber which can be improved with restoration/polishing. Un-restored. Small patch repairs to the side panels consistent with age. Section of moulding missing above stile (currently missing - see image). Further small repairs/losses to the moulded top.
