Taxidermy: A Late Victorian Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus), circa 1880-1900, a large full mount adult female with hood attached, mounted upon a hand made leather falconers gauntlet, re-cased within a modern cream painted single-glass table display case, 40cm by 30.5cm by 70cm, mounted very much in the manner of North East Taxidermist's such as Robert Duncan and Joseph Cullingford, each adopted this simple, clean, yet very effective process of letting the natural beauty of the specimen show, and not be overpowered by a cluttered interior.
