Taxidermy: A Cased European Stone-Curlew (Burhinus oedicnemus), dated 1907, Norfolk, a full mount adult male with head turning slightly to the left, stood upon pebble, grit and soil covered groundwork, set against a wash painted back drop, enclosed within a period ebonised three-glass display case, 41cm by 13.5cm by 41.5cm, bearing hand written data to verso - "Shot by Alfred Brisco, at Thetford, Norfolk, Dec 07 ", together with a cased Willow Grouse, a full mount adult with head turning to the right, stood upon painted faux groundwork, amidst a natural setting of ferns and gorse, set against a pale blue painted back drop, enclosed within a period ebonised three-glass display case, 37.5cm by 22.5cm by 33.5cm, (2).
