The King Edward VII section of a collection, on three albums leaves, including outstanding mint and used high values, the mint in lovely quality with deep fresh colour on the 1911 £1 (SG.320), likewise the Somerset House £1 deep green used, with excellent colour and superb neat Guernsey cds, the shilling values in corresponding quality.

Highlights of the October 30th Stamp Sale include a very extensive collection of Switzerland assembled over a lifetime by a former President of the Helvetia Society of Great Britain with focus on postal history beautifully written-up on album pages; a specialised collection of Ceylon with many of the key stamps including an excellent range of classics plus King George V key-plate high values, plus from the same estate a group of the Indian State of Jammu & Kashmir including a complete presentation album sent out in 1899 on behalf of the Maharajah. Also an extremely interesting large folio presentation volume of 19th Turkish revenue proof sets with ornate binding suggesting a possibly unique production for the Ottoman royal family.
