Taxidermy: A Very Rare Pair of Indian Tiger Cubs (Panthera tigris tigris), dated 1931, Nargund, South West, India, by Van Ingen Van Ingen, Mysore, India, an incredibly rare pair of Indian Tiger cub shoulder mounts, one facing slightly to the right, the other to the left, each with closed mouth expressions, each from the wall 26cm, mounted upon matching Indian hardwood shields, both with painted legend to the shield "Nargund, 1931", one shield bearing a typical ivorine trade label to the edge, both bearing impressed Van Ingen Van Ingen trade stamps to the verso of the shields, (2).
