Taxidermy: A Large Late Victorian Cased Golden Eagle & Pine Marten (Aquila chrysaetos / Martes martes), attributed to Henry Shaw, Taxidermist, Salop, a large full mount Golden eagle with head turned looking over the left wing, behind a full mount Pine marten in aggresive pose with mouth agape, both mounted upon a painted faux rockscape, amidst a natural moorland setting of heather, grasses and moss, set against a watercolour painted sky back drop, enclosed within a large period ebonised single-glass display case with gilded border, 124cm by 42.5cm by 83.5cm.
