The Castle has some slight cockling to paper, the odd sporadic foxing spot, in particluar; one within the green of the bank to the left hand side, one below the signature and one to the lower left at the bottom of the bank. Time staining to mount and some light surface dirt and debris trapped under the glass.

The cliff face has slight cockling to the paper, a horizontal crease accross 1cm down from the top edge. The odd sporadic foxing spot, especially to the left hand side of the work and within the light green to the centre. Time staining to mount and some light surface dirt and debris trapped under the glass.

Both works have not been examined out of the frame.
