Peascod was a rock climber, mining engineer, teacher and professional artist. He gained a notable reputation as one of Britain's top rock climbers.

To include a selection of Contemporary artworks from The Frank Cohen Collection (to be sold without reserve), an important watercolour by Elizabeth Blackadder, ceramics by Jean Cocteau and Pablo Picasso, and Northern Art by the likes of Norman Cornish, Brian ‘Braaq’ Shields and Peter Brook. The sale also includes a singe owner collection of works by Harry Epworth Allen, and a collection from the Estate of Eric Hill.
