In a broadly good and stable state of preservation. Some visible underpainting. Light surface dirt. Some minor abrasions to the outer edges, parts of which remain free of paint and show the white of the board. Small dark coloured slash to upper part of the honeysuckle within the foreground. Fairly superficial surface horizontal scratch running from the top of the badgers head and is approx 10cms in length, the board is lightly apparent in places along the scratch. Some of the blue pigment in particular looks more apparent in places (by design). Unframed.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
