A Second World War Group of Four Medals, awarded to 1512923 Corporal Joseph Hewith Pratt, RAF, comprising 1939-45 Star, Burma Star, Defence and War Medal, together with postal box of issue with medal slips, his New Testament, a hand written "Overseas Diary" from October 18th 1944 to April 17th 1946 describing his time serving in Burma, three enamelled Burma Star Association badges and hand written notes for a talk given to the Burma Star Association, of which he was a member

Footnote:- The diary describes his voyage by Troop Ship to Bombay where he transferred to a lorry which took him to WORLI Camp. He was then posted by rail to 85 ASP at Chittagong in Eastern Bengal but on reaching his destination discovered that 85 ASP had left. He then travelled on by various means to Burma
