Taxidermy: A Cased European Hare Mask & Tribute To Champion Greyhound Genial Nobleman Winner of The Waterloo Cup (Lepus europaeus), mounted by Peter Spicer & Sons, Taxidermist's, Leamington, an interesting and unique display containing a preserved European Hare mask, mounted upon a trade mark shaped oak shield, surrounded by numerous newspaper clippings relating to the Waterloo Cup of 1934, Genial Nobleman a high quality thoroughbred greyhound sired by previous Waterloo Cup Winner "White Collar" and owned by Mr N. Shaw, secretary of the Ipswich Coursing Club, secured the win in just 29 seconds to take the deciding match against Lord Sefton's entry "Sold Again", establishing his legacy as a notable winner of the prestigious Waterloo Cup, enclosed within a wall mounted five-glass display case, 67.5cm by 19.5cm by 45cm excluding outer frame.
