♦Henry II, (1154-1189), 2 x Cross and Crosslets (‘Tealby’) Silver Pennies comprising (1) class A: crowned bust, no hair, trefoil of pellets between mantle & hand, legend not struck up, rev. inner circle with large cross potent & small cross potent in each angle, small saltire cross in centre, legend not struck up; wt. 1.54g, parts Poor, parts Fine & (2) class C: crowned bust with curl of hair at temple, jewelled collar & several folds to mantle; legend not struck up, rev. inner circle with large cross potent & small cross potent in each angle, small saltire cross in centre, legend not struck up except for ‘ON L,’ irregular flan, parts Poor, parts Fine.
