Taxidermy: A Late Victorian Cased Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus), by Arthur Rodgers, Taxidermy, Nottingham,, a full mount adult female with wings outstretched, a Grey Partridge prey underfoot, perched atop a painted faux rock bolder, amidst a natural setting of ferns and fauna, set against a graduated painted sky backdrop, enclosed within a typical period ebonised five-glass display case, 71cm by 28cm by 52.5cm, signed to interior lower left F. Rodgers, Nottingham.
