Central drawer is stuck. Evidence of glue residue on first drawer but first drawer moves freely in telescope. Further evidence of glue to eye piece. The glass appears present in all pieces. Can see through the telescope but it does not focus. First drawer inscribed T Balfour. Leather is scratches and scuffed throughout, stitching is starting to come away at bottom end. Patinated metal has areas of wear/scratches. Also a couple of dents. Large dent to main glass rim. Leather case also tooled T. Balfour and with scuffs and scratches commensurate with age and use. All leather straps present. Cover to telescope is stuck in the bottom leather case.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
