Taxidermy: A Late Victorian Cased Pair of Tawny Owls (Strix aluco), circa 1880-1900, a cased pair of full mount adults, both perched upon a painted faux tree trunk root, above painted a pebble covered groundwork, amidst a natural setting of tall grasses and fauna, set against a graduated blue / yellow painted back drop, enclosed within a typical period ebonised three-glass display case, 64cm by 25.5cm by 57cm
