Bird of Paradise (species unknown), circa 1880, full mount, in display plumage, with yellow head and black throat, perched on a mossy twig amongst grasses, on turned mahogany oval plinth base with bun feet, beneath a glass dome, overall 47.5cm

Plumage faded. Basal paper lifting and curling at the edges significantly. Glass dome good. 240113
