The naming of the India Medal is quite clear except for the Som.:Lt which is quite worn. The edge does not look thin, as it would if renamed The naming of the Queen's South Africa Medal is worn and sketchy over Capt. which is in lower case as opposed to his full name. Again the edge does not look thin, as it would if renamed The First World War Pair look ok. Captain Platt WAS NOT awarded the DCM as described, but was to be Brevet Major This group came from the family via a third party.
