The King George V section of a collection, 165 stamps parallel mint and used on album pages including Downey heads with 1d (SG.336) booklet pane MNH, excellent seahorses with Waterlow £1 very lightly hinged mint and superb cds used, attractive Bradbury set mint with the 2/6d and 10/- never hinged, plus the 10/- steel blue shade SG.N71(3) with superb cds (1985 RPS certificate), as well as PUC £1 mint extremely lightly hinged and cds used, and the 1934 re-engraved seahorses mint and used in select quality.

Highlights of the October 30th Stamp Sale include a very extensive collection of Switzerland assembled over a lifetime by a former President of the Helvetia Society of Great Britain with focus on postal history beautifully written-up on album pages; a specialised collection of Ceylon with many of the key stamps including an excellent range of classics plus King George V key-plate high values, plus from the same estate a group of the Indian State of Jammu & Kashmir including a complete presentation album sent out in 1899 on behalf of the Maharajah. Also an extremely interesting large folio presentation volume of 19th Turkish revenue proof sets with ornate binding suggesting a possibly unique production for the Ottoman royal family.
