Taxidermy: A Cased Common Snipe (Gallinago gallinago), dated 26th December 1899, attributed to Small & Son, 38 George Street, Edinburgh, Scotland, a full mount adult stood within a natural setting of grasses above grit covered groundwork, set against a watercolour painted estuary scene back drop, enclosed within a simple period ebonised pine three-glass display case, 31cm by 12.5cm by 25.5cm, bearing hand written legend to verso "Snipe shot by T.G. Abram, Dec 26th 1899".
