Novelty Assortment: A Small Tortoiseshell Brisé Fan, that folds down to be encased in the handle, opening with a sprung lever. Height when open 6.75 inches or 17cm; A Small Cream Celluloid Brisé Fan, the stick tips carved and pierced. Guard length 4.5 inches 11.5cm; A Maroon Leather Folding Cockade Fan, the leaf of glazed fabric painted with colourful flowers. Open height 13 inches or 33 cm; A Small Bone Dance Card in the form of a fan, with three central leaves on which to write, two outer panels. Closed with a silver metal catch. Closed, 1.75 inches or 4.5cm; A Small Victorian Birthday Card printed with a fan, birds flying over water; A Book Marker in light card, printed with a girl and lady in circa 1900 costume, both carrying an umbrella and sunshade, advertising an umbrella retailer on the verso; A 19th Century Fan Shaped Valentine Card that opens to a half cockade, and shows a sweet little girl similar to the Lucy Attwell children, holding an open folding fan.
Marked "Beistle" and "printed in the USA" near the rivet, approx. 8.5 inches or 21.5cm; and finally, An Original Calendar Fan for 1892 showing typical seasonal scenes for each month, and "For Lizzie with Uncle and Auntie's Love" written on the verso (8)
