The Diamond Jubilee Fan, number 2 of a limited edition of 60, produced for the Fan Museum in Greenwich, boxed. The single paper leaf is mounted on light pear wood sticks, carved and pierced and inlaid with Swarovski crystals by the French Master Fanmaker Sylvain Le Guen, the upper guard featuring a crown. The printed leaf is dated "1952-2012. To the left, the attribution "ER II". To the right an image of Queen Elizabeth II in royal regalia, seated on the Coronation throne. The reserves feature large red roses and buds. The verso is plain save for the 2/60 numbering. Guard length 8 inches or 23cm. Together with five further fans, made for The Fan Museum, as follows: The Hermitage Exhibition in 1998, the Geenwich Fan by Peter Kent, the RHS 200 year celebration fan, the Lloyds of London 1688-1988 tercentenary fan, and finally a fontange fan printed with the motto and Arms of the Worshipful Company of Fishmongers, with a merman and mermaid, a shield and crest. A fish in silver metal and abalone adorns the upper guard (6)
