A Brass Hunting Theme Striking Mantel Clock, retailed by Goldsmiths Alliance Limited, Cornhill, London, no.9478, circa 1910, caddy shaped pediment with urn shaped finials, elaborately scroll and bird decorated side columns, front panel with a hunting scene, base with acanthus leaf borders, 4-inch silvered dial with Roman numerals and retailers signature, twin barrel movement striking on a gong, movement backplate stamped Japy Freres and numbered 9478, pendulum bob with matching number 9478, 37.5cm high see illustration

08.02.21 Brass surfaces are discoloured, dial is discoloured and with surface scratches, movement is clean, hammer arm has broken and come away from the movement, the hammer arm is still present with the clock but needs repairing, with original pendulum.
