Rev: Welsh emblems (harp, daffodil, dragon shield, crown and branches of oak and laurel), ARGRAFFIAD CYFYNGEDIG (Limited edition in Welsh). 0337 on edge. Proof FDC. The gold was mined at Gwynfynydd, near Dolgellau which was in operation from 1887 to 1989. This coin, no. 337/3,000, is encapsulated in its original Royal Mint red leatherette presentation case with certificate of authenticity and information leaflet (certificate and leaflet well-worn). A similar example was auctioned by Tennants in 2019, this example realised £1,900.00.
