An Ebonised Eight Day Longcase Clock, signed Blackburn, Oakham, No.1146, circa 1740, caddy pediment, moulded trunk door with glass lenticle, 12-inch square brass dial with a silvered Roman numeral chapter ring signed, matted dial centre with a date aperture, single hand, four pillar movement with anchor escapement and inside countwheel striking on a bell, later seatboard, possibly later case, 196cm high see illustration

09.02.21 Possibly later case, case has been restored, re-ebonised surfaces, case with scratches in parts and small dents, later seatboard, dial slightly discoloured, movement is complete and in going order, with pendulum and two weights.
