Antlers/Horns: European Red Deer (Cervus elaphus hippelaphus), circa 1964, Crimean Peninsula, Russia, Gold Medal of International Safari Club, taken by Jurgen Josch, 12kg, 226 C.I.C, length 46½ inches, adult Imperial stag antlers on upper skull, 14 points (7+7), widest spread 42-1/2'', height 56-1/2'', mounted upon a Rowland Ward style shaped oak shield, bearing identification plaque. Provenance: Ex Lot - 833 Tennants Fine Art auction 05th July 2007. Shot by Jurgen Josch on his 30th birthday, 27th September 1964, in the Crimean Peninsula, Russia, in the former hunting area of the Russian Czars.
