Decimal period mint never hinged collection in 13 volumes - mostly boxed hingeless albums (9) - and loose, the focus on definitives with specialised Machins including extensive cylinder blocks and booklets, nice range of errors incl. failed perf pairs and 8p rosine (X879) block of six, etc. This collector clearly went down the rabbit hole for the folded booklet varieties with a huge array of 1st and 2nd class. Face value will likely exceed £9,000, with £1200++ in pictorial/commems and well over £7,600 in Machins.

Highlights of the October 30th Stamp Sale include a very extensive collection of Switzerland assembled over a lifetime by a former President of the Helvetia Society of Great Britain with focus on postal history beautifully written-up on album pages; a specialised collection of Ceylon with many of the key stamps including an excellent range of classics plus King George V key-plate high values, plus from the same estate a group of the Indian State of Jammu & Kashmir including a complete presentation album sent out in 1899 on behalf of the Maharajah. Also an extremely interesting large folio presentation volume of 19th Turkish revenue proof sets with ornate binding suggesting a possibly unique production for the Ottoman royal family.
