Taxidermy: A Cased Diorama of Various British Birds, circa 1910-1961, Ex Museum Display case, by Henry Murray & Son, Naturalist's and Taxidermist's, Bank Buildings, Carnforth, a cased diorama of various British garden birds comprising - Black Redstart, Redstart, Wheatear, Meadow Pipit, all mounted upon and around painted faux rock boulders, amidst a natural setting of tall grasses, and fauna, above soil and moss-covered groundwork, enclosed within a typical five-glass table display case with ebonised frame and base, 54cm by 33.5cm by 51.5cm, bearing handwritten index to floor interior.
