A First World War OBE Group of Five Medals, awarded to 2.LIEUT. L.(Logie) W.(Weir) WILSON A.S.C.(later Captain Royal Irish Rifles), comprising OBE (Civil), 1914-15 Star, British War Medal (LIEUT.), Victory Medal (LIEUT.) and Coronation Medal 1936, swing mounted as worn, with the minatures, a photocopy of Medal Index Card giving his address as 44 St. Kelvins Pk., Dublin and a short biographical note.

Footnote:- Captain Logie Weir Wilson was taken prisoner by the Germans during the First World War. At the end of the War he entered Trinity College, Dublin where he took a degree. He then went to Sierra Leone, West Africa where he served as the District Commissioner in the Colonial Services and then Chief Commissioner of the Protecturate. He remained in Sierra Leone for thirty years and was awarded the OBE for his services there.

The Ethnographica section includes is a Collection of Inuit Art comprising knives, weapons, utensils and decorative objects
