A Cat's-Eye Stone and Diamond Cluster Ring
the oval cabochon cat's-eye stone in a yellow claw setting, within a border of old cut diamonds in white claw settings, to a yellow tapered shoulder plain polished shank, total estimated diamond weight 0.45 carat approximately
finger size Q

Sold for £250
Estimated at £250 - £300

The ring is in fair condition with abrasion to the cat's-eye stone and also chips to multiple diamonds. It bears no hallmark nor stamp but in our opinion would test as gold. The cat's-eye stone measures 17.24mm x 11.58mm x 9.87mm approximately. Cabochon stones can be difficult to test, combined with the setting limitations and the dark nature of the stone a positive identification can not be determined, many cat's-eye stones are quartz. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour I/J/K, clarity I1/I2/I3. Gross weight 8.8 grams. CR made 06.11.23.
