FDC collection in 6 Post Office binders, from 1948 to 2012, the definitives including July and August 1953 values, SG.577 4½d single (cat. £250), commems incl. 1953 coronation, 1957 conference 4d (SG.560), and the highlight of the collection the full set of four 1968 Manchester United - Benfica European Cup Final covers signed by George Best, Bobby Charlton, Matt Busby and Eusebio (a similar set sold for £260 incl. premium at Bonhams in 2010).

Highlights of the October 30th Stamp Sale include a very extensive collection of Switzerland assembled over a lifetime by a former President of the Helvetia Society of Great Britain with focus on postal history beautifully written-up on album pages; a specialised collection of Ceylon with many of the key stamps including an excellent range of classics plus King George V key-plate high values, plus from the same estate a group of the Indian State of Jammu & Kashmir including a complete presentation album sent out in 1899 on behalf of the Maharajah. Also an extremely interesting large folio presentation volume of 19th Turkish revenue proof sets with ornate binding suggesting a possibly unique production for the Ottoman royal family.
