♦Henry VI, First Reign (1422-1461), 2 x Silver Groats comprising: (1) London Mint, trefoil issue, obv.mm cross fleury, HENRIC DI GRA REX ANGL Z FRANC around crowned facing bust of king within tressure of nine arcs, trefoil either side of neck & small leaf on breast, trefoil stops in legend, rev. mm plain cross, CIVITAS LONDON long cross pattée, leaf before & trefoil after LONDON, saltire stops in outer legend; wt. 3.64g, full, well struck flan, minor flat spots in legends VF to GVF & (2) London Mint, leaf trefoil issue, mm cross fleury, HENRIC DI GRA REX ANGL Z FRANC around crowned facing bust of king within tressure of nine arcs, leaf stops in legend, no leaf on breast, rev. long cross pattée, CIVITAS LONDON, leaf before & trefoil after LONDON, saltire stops in outer legend; wt. 3.75g, v-shaped edge nick at 1 o’clock, lightly clipped AVF.
