Loxia/ Crossbill - General time staining to the sheet. Medium sized consistent foxing spots throughout. Surface dirt/ odd relatively minor scuff. Attached to mount along top and lower edge. Colour depth broadly good. The other - Significant staining to sheet which is less pronounced in some areas. ( Visible on the images) Varying sizes of consistent foxing spots throughout. Surface dirt and odd minor scuff. Vertical dark coloured line running the length of the watercolour which intersects through the birds head ( visible on the image). Tapped to mount along top and lower edge. Significant discoloured adhesive residue/ matter to reverse of the sheet. Some general tempering to the colour depth as a result of the time staining but broadly good. These works are unframed and have presumably been held as such in portfolios as loose works- their condition is therefore mostly consistent with this, including any general light handling marks etc. For further information.
