A Pair of Derby Porcelain Mansion House Dwarves, 19th century, each modelled as a portly figure, one with a staff, his conical hat inscribed DON JUAN'S LIFE IN LONDON, the other with broad-brimmed hat inscribed Auction of Elegant Fancy Toys, Auction Makt, Corn Market, on mound bases, both incised No.227, one with painted crown and Derby mark in red, 17.5cm and 18.5cm high

First with loss to bow on hat, other minor chips and enamel flakes. Second with minor flakes and wear, glaze pitting and a firing tear to the front of his legs
