With 694MD stencil to stretcher verso. Original canvas. Loss to paint in lower right hand corner below the signature with some further uplifting of the paint. . The canvas is also buckled in this area as it is to a degree in the upper right hand corner which also has some slightly lifting paint. There is highly visible reasonably small sized cracqulure/ splitting of the paint mostly within and running through the trees of the left hand side across the lower part of the buildings and architecture and varnish is also showing as slightly opaque in the cracking and crevices. (images can be supplied to illustrate the extent of this). Surface dirt and discoloured varnish. Painted on a terracotta ground which is showing through in areas of the lower approx 1/3 of the painting. Medium sized less pronounced and stable cracquelure within the sky and elsewhere. Not glazed.
