Taxidermy: A Late Victorian Cased Diorama of British Birds, circa 1880-1900, a collection of various birds, comprising a pair of Tawny Owls, a Cuckoo, Corncrake and Weasel, all mounted around and on a centrally positioned tree, above painted faux rock ground work, amidst a natural setting of tall grasses, leaves and fauna, set against a painted sky back drop, enclosed within a period ebonised three-glass display case, 58cm by 24.5cm by 75.5cm
