A Scottish Mahogany Eight Day Longcase Clock, signed M.Ferguson, Mauchline, circa 1840, well figured case, flame veneer trunk door flanked by canted corners, 14-inch arch painted dial with Roman numerals, seconds and date dials, arch painted and titled ''The Queen in the Highlands'', four pillar movement with an anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell, 220cm high

10.08.21 Case with small cracks to the left hand side, bottom side of the trunk door with a replaced piece of veneer, later feet, hood door is slightly bowed, dial is clean, movement is complete, with pendulum and two weights.
